Day 1: Singapore - Christchurch (via Auckland)
Your Air New Zealand Holidays vacation begins.

Day 2: Arrive Christchurch
You will be met by your driver for a private transfer to your accommodation.

Day 3: Christchurch - Greymouth (B)

Depart Christchurch on the renowned Tranz Alpine. Train (coach customers only) and travel beside the Waimakariri River, over the Southern Alps and onto the alpine village of Aurthur's Pass before arriving in Greymouth. Continue towards Punakaiki to view Pancake Rocks, a magnificent limestone formation carved over millions of years into intricate caverns and columns.

Day 4: Greymouth - Glacier Region (B)
Travel south to Hokitika where you can view greenstone carvers, glass blowers at work. You can view Franz Josef Glacier from Sentinel Rock. Get up close and hear the glaciers creaking and cracking as they constantly grind down the valleys. Near Fox Glacier is Lake Matheson, formed some 14,000 years ago from a huge sheet of trapped ice.

Day 5: Glacier Region - Queenstown (B)
Travel down the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the Haast Pass, gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Follow the shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka to the resort city of Queenstown.

Day 6: Queenstown (B)
Today is at leisure to relax or explore Queenstown. Optional activities available include bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, four wheel driving, cruising on Lake Wakatipu, riding a gondola to the summit of Bob's Peak for panoramic views or simply enjoying the excellent shopping and dining available.

Day 7: Milford Sound Day Tour (B)
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakitipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter Eglington Valley and travel through the breath-taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown.

Day 8: Queenstown - Mt Cook - Christchurch (B)
Travel through the Central Otago region to Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook, or known in Maori as "Aorangi", the cloud piercer. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd and Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch.

Day 9: Christchurch - Singapore (via Auckland) (B)
You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight home.

  • International travel is valid on NZ 2-digit flights only.
  • No refund for a partially used ticket.
  • Prices excludes all taxes and insurance levy. An insurance levy per ticket flight coupon applies.

  • Upgrade to First Class Hotel available at surcharge. Price on application.
  • If any of the properties are unavailable at the time of booking, similar accommodation will be provided.
  • The offer is not applicable with child/infant discounted ticket.
  • The offer cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
  • Child refers to any person(s) between ages 2-11 years old.
  • Package does not include transfers, meals, departure taxes or other personal expenses example laundry, room service, mini bar etc.
  • NO refund will be made in respect to any part of the package not utilised by the passenger, either in part of in full or where passenger amends, cancels or otherwise varies arrangements after the commencement of the trip.

Liabilities
The company shall not be liable for any cost, expenses or damages whatsoever incurred or suffered arising from any of the following events:

  1. Acts of God, fire, lightning, explosion, flood, inclement weather or accidents
  2. National or local emergency, acts or omissions of any government or government authority or agency, insurrection, civil disorder, war or military operations
  3. Industrial disputes of any kind, strikes, lock-outs, stoppage or restrain of labour
  4. Traffic congestion, vehicle breakdown, obstruction of any public/private road, highway, sea or air passage
  5. Accidents of any kind occurring during the Customer's independent activities
  6. Theft, robbery or lost property
  7. Food poisoning
  8. Isolation as a result of infectious diseases or any condition likely to endanger the health or safety of Customers or impair their reasonable comfort
  9. Any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Airline
  10. Any cancellation or alteration of the package, hotel accommodation or tour services as a result of any of the aforementioned events or as a result of any decision, act or omission of the Airline.
