Lungshan
Temple |
 |
Built
during the Qing Dynasty (1738), Lungshan
Temple is still well preserved despite
several renovations. The outstanding
construction features exquisite roofs
with swallow-tail shaped eaves and
intricately carved columns, having
been graded as level-2 national relic
site. The main palace is dedicated
to Guanyin, the Buddhist Goddess of
Mercy, and has been attracting a lot
of believers as wishes made here tend
to came true. |
Hwahsi
Street Night Market |
 |
Hwahsi
Street Night Market is likely to remind
people of snake meat. Hwahsi Street
in fact covers the neighboring Guangzhou
Street and Xichang Street. Cavern-covered
Hwahsi Street accommodates a lot of
sea food restaurants and massage shops.
The Guangzhou Street offers night
market fun in tasty eateries while
the Xichang Street has lots of shops
selling Chinese herbs. |
