Kenting is no doubt the tourism paradise for people of all ages. Visitors are fascinated by the blue sky and sea, green pastures and mountains, golden sandy beach.

Kenting Avenue is the best venue to experience local night life. Alongside the one-kilometer avenue, there are a lot of shops offering a great variety of food and fun. The whole avenue is lit after midnight and filled with enchanting music and relaxing revelry. Visitors can wander through the avenue and enjoy the romantic ambience of the open-air bars and coffee lounges, just like in Phuket and Bali.

With a tropical monsoon climate and plenty rainfall, Kenting is gifted with diverse topography and geology. The park is Taiwan's first and largest tropical forest and has a land area of 72 hectares. It is also world famous for its tropical plants, wild animals, insects and the uplifting coral scene.

The whole area is divided into three zones. There are 10 sites of interest including a huge Chaidong tree and a Sea-viewing Pavilion in the first zone; six sites of interest such as One-line Cliff and Monkey Cliff in the second zone. The third zone not open to the public is categorized as nature conservation area where the Forest Experiment Institute is stationed.

Walking in the forest even on a sunny summer day, tourists can freely enjoy the fresh air without high temperature or sticky humidity frequently experienced in hectic cities.

Kenting Forest Park is set on the lime terrace caused by the lifting of corals. The hug plantation area demonstrates a majestic scene composed of coral reef plants, tropical rain forest and monsoon wind forest.

Sherding Park is located on the limestone terrace within the special scenic area of Kenting National Park. It is a forest park of dumpy and bunch trees with spacious lawn land. With narrow lengthy shape, the park is hit every winter by strong northeast monsoon wind that cuts trees like a knife. The wind also brings a huge flock of Grey Frog Hawk and therefore attracts a lots of hawk watchers.
In its lush greenery, the park also provides an ideal ecological environment for the cluster of butterflies. There are several trails with view-watching pavilions. All facilities are designed for visitors to enjoy the beauty of the great nature.

Located on the east of Kenting and in between of Oluanbi and Chialoshui, the area is famous for geological oddity rocks and for the meandering coastline that attracts many hikers and cyclists. In nearby Longpan, extensive luxuriant pastures cover all over the coral limestone terrain. There is also an interesting site called Fengchuaish, where visitors see a huge volume of beach sands driven by strong winter wind.
