Day
01: Home - Yangon (L/D)
Arrive at Yangon International airport,
a warm welcome by our local guide where she
will assist and arrange your transfers to your
selected hotel for check-in and rest. After
lunch, your tour guide will accompany you for
sightseeing of the Reclining Buddha (Chauk Htat
Kyi) which is 72 m long. Visit the downtown
area of Yangon city and pay homage to revered
2500 years old Shwedagon Pagoda, its golden
dome rising 98m above its base. Be impressed
at the richly layered exterior of the Pagoda
whom the people of Myanmar had pampered with
60 tons of pure gold. Enjoy your dinner at a
local restaurant with a Myanmar Culture Show.
Stay overnight at Yangon.
Day
02: Yangon - Sittwe - Mrauk Oo (B/L/D)
After breakfast this morning, take a domestic
flight from Yangon to Sittwe, the provincial
capital and main port of Rakhine (Arakan). Upon
arrival, transfer to the jetty where you will
board the boat that bound for Mrauk Oo. You
will enjoy your lunch on board, enjoying the
river view. Dinner and overnight in Mrauk O.
Day
03: Mrauk Oo (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a visit to Shittaung Temple
- a shrine of 80,000 Buddha images. Adjacent
to this, you will see the Anndaw Thein Temple,
the Htukkan Thein Ordination Hall and the 17th
Century temple of Yadarnar Phone Pagoda and
Lay Myat Nar Temple, which was built in Mrauk
Oo during the period 14th century AD. After
lunch this afternoon, visit the local village
to see the lifestyles of the locals. Visit the
Koe Thaung Temple, Pay See Paya and Sykya Manaung
Pagoda. End your day for a breathtaking sunset
at Shwe Gou Taung Pagoda Hill. Dinner and overnight
in Mrauk Oo.
Day
04: Mrauk Oo - Vesali - Mahamuni Pagoda (B/L/D)
This morning, visit to Vesali. This former 2.7
square miles large city was developed by King
Mahathain Chandra during the Vesali Dynasty
which is believed to have lasted until the 8th
century. Visit the Wethali Grate image from
builit in 327 AD. This is a huge sitting Buddha
image carved out of a single block of sand stone.
See the remaining ruins of the palace site from
the Dhanya Waddy Dynasty as well. Return to
Mrauk U by car and lunch. Visit the Shakama
village by rowing boat about 30 minutes, followed
by visit the Museum and Palace site, dating
back to 16th century. Enjoy sunset at Hurre
Taung Hill. Dinner and overnight in Mrauk Oo.
Day
05: Mrauk Oo - Sittwe - Yangon (B/L/D)
Depart early morning back to Sittwe. Enjoy the
sunrise while having your breakfast on the boat.
Upon arrival in Sittwe, we'll bring you for
a short sightseeing tour of Sittwe before transferring
you to Sittwe Airport for your flight back to
Yangon. Dinner at local restaurant. Stay overnight
in Yangon.
Day 06: Yangon - Home (B)
After breakfast at your hotel , transfer to
the airport for your departure flight.
