Day
01: Home - Yangon (L/D)
Arrive in Yangon International Airport.
Meet & transfer to Hotel. Lunch at the local
restaurant. After lunch, begin Yangon half day
sightseeing such as visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda
- a colossal reclining Buddha. Local glass blowing
Factory and Gem Souvenir Centre and Factory.
Finally, proceed to Bogyoke (Scott) Market with
time to browse among the hundreds of stalls
for souvenir bargains. In the evening, visit
the Shwedagon Pagod - a 2500 years old world
famous stupa. Dinner at Karaweik Palace - built
in a style of Royal Barge used by the old days
Kings. After dinner, retire to your hotel for
your first night stay in Yangon.
Day
02: Yangon - Bagan (B/L/D)
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, leave Yangon for Bagan by domestic
flight. Begin Bagan full day sightseeing to
attractuibs such as Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon
Pagoda - build by King Anawahta in the early
11th century as a religious shrine; Kyansittha
Cave Monastery, Wetkyi-in Guvyaukkyi - a temple
with exquisite murals of Jataka scene; Temple
City Gate and Lacqueware Industry. Lunch at
the local restaurant. After lunch, continue
sightseeing Gawawplin Temple, Ananda Temple
& Oakkyaung with four huge standing Buddha images
and numerous seated figures in niches around
the galleried interior, Thatbyinnyu Temple,
Sulamnani Temple, Damayangyi Temple and watch
sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River from Shwesandaw
or Mahazedi Pagoda. Dinner and Puppet Show at
the local restaurant.
Day
03: Bagan - Mandalay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, morning flight to Mandalay
- the former capital of Myanmar's last Kings.
After check-in at hotel, start Mandalay City
tour. Tour highlights are: Mahamuni Pagoda -
housing a Buddha Image made during the life
time of Buddha; Tapestry Workshop; and Gold
Leaf Beating Home Cottage. Lunch at a restaurant.
After lunch, continue visit to Royal Palace,
Shwenandaw Monastery, Atumashi Monastery and
Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world's largest
book from its 729 marble engraved with Buddhist
scriptures. End of the tour at Mandalay Hill
- for a panoramic view of the city Dinner will
be arranged at local restaurant. Overnight in
Mandalay.
Day
04: Mandalay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit Jade Market before proceed
to Amarapura - an ancient capital built on the
advice of astrologers. Tour highlights are Mahagandaryone
Monastery - where one may observe the daily
life of the monks studying Buddha's scriptures,
U Bein's Bridge - 1.2km long wooden bridge built
over 200 years ago, and wood carving, marble
carving and bronze casting villages. After lunch,
boat trip to Mingun where the world largest
ringing bell exist. Sightseeing Mingun Bell
and Pahtodawgyi unfinished pagoda and environs.
Evening enjoy the sunset view of mighty Ayeyarwaddy
River & Middle Yoma from the roof of the boat.
Dinner and overnight in Mandalay.
Day
05: Mandalay - Heho (B/L/D)
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, leave Mandalay for Heho by
domestic flight and then transfer to Pindaya
by coach. Lunch at the local restaurant. After
lunch, sightseeing highlights include the scenic
lake and Pindaya Caves- unique for the thousands
of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over
many centuries, traditional Shan Paper and Umbrella
Making villages. Drive back to Lake Inle. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel.
Day
06: Inle Lake (B/L/D)
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, begins a full day excursion
by boat on Inle Lake which includes sights of
the famous leg-rowers, typical floating gardens,
local methods of fishing and village life. Visit
are made to Floating Market and Phaungdawoo
Pagoda. Lunch at the local restaurant. After
lunch, continue sightseeing the weaving village
of Inpawkhon and Ngaphekyaung Monastery - well
known for its jumping cats and numerous collections
of Buddha images and alters. Dinner and overnight
at the hotel.
Day
07: Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon (B/L/D)
After breakfast leave Inle for Heho by coach
and then transfer to Yangon by domestic flight.
Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch,
you will have some free time to explore the
city or do some shopping on your own. Overnight
in Yangon.
Day
08: Yangon - Home (B)
After breakfast in hotel, transfer to airport
for your flight back home.
