Today, you will enjoy a day trip to Gulmarg, also referred to as the “Meadow of Flowers”, situated at an altitude of 2650m above sea level. This hill town is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley, a haven for adventure seekers and a paradise for nature lovers. Gulmarg is also popular for its golf course in summer and skiing during winter. The journey to Gulmarg is half the enchantment of reaching there. Roads bordered by rigid avenues of poplar give over to flat expanses of rice fields interspersed with picturesque villages.
