Day 1: Arrival in Dubrovnik (Dinner)
Arrive in Dubrovnik Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative and be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Dubrovnik - Split (Breakfast, Dinner)
Morning sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik. The old city of Dubrovnik is one of the fastest rising destinations for the tourists in the country and is one of the cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Afternoon depart for Split, driving along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. From Dubrovnik to Split you get a sense of splendour after every new bend in the road, a new view of azure-turquoise sea, impressive mountains, and green islands opposite of the lagoons or views into the open sea.
Day 3: Split - Trogir - Zadar (Breakfast, Dinner)
This morning you will tour Split, it covers Diocletian’s Palace – UNESCO list of World Cultural heritage, with the Peristyle, the Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Split,the second-largest city in Croatia after Zagreb in central Dalmatia, has it all Roman ruins and grand museums alongside fashionable cafes and trendy shops. But what makes this city most alluring is not just its proximity to the sandy beaches and rocky coves of nearby islands, but its location overlooked by mountains and edged by the deep blue Adriatic Sea.
Next depart for Trogir, a picturesque medieval town on the central Adriatic coast of Croatia. Its preserved old town, known for its mix of Renaissance, baroque and Romanesque buildings, lies on a small island connected to the mainland and the island of Čiovo by bridges. You will visit the 13th century Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Then continue your journey to Zadar.
Day 4: Zadar - Zagreb (Breakfast, Dinner)
Today is reserved for exploring and discovering the charm of Zadar a city on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, is known for the Roman Forum. There’s also the round, 9th-century pre-Romanesque Church of St. Donatus.With its Roman ruins, art installations, and white-sand beach, Zadar is one of the most unique resorts along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, where travelers come to feast on seafood, watch dreamy sunsets, and sip cocktails at oceanside bars. Afternoon depart for Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
Day 5: Zagreb - Plitvice (Breakfast, Dinner)
Begin the city tour of Zagreb in the morning; it covers the fortified Upper Town, St Mark’s Church, the Cathedral, city’s historical centre, the Croatian National Theatre and the University.
The fortified upper town is full of charm and it gathers a lot of Zagreb interest points such as St Mark Church and the cathedral (Kaptol). In the centre of the square is St. Mark church, famous for its roof representing the arms of the Tripartite Kingdom (Croatia, Dalmatia and Slavonia) and those of the city of Zagreb. The Cathedral, on the Kaptol, is a Roman Catholic institution and not only the tallest building in Croatia.
City’s historical centre this is a place with a great atmosphere. There, you can feel the city itself. When you take a walk on the paved, narrow streets you can feel like the time has reversed about several decades ago, perhaps centuries, and you can really feel and see the majesty of the city. The Croatian National Theatre commonly referred to as HNK Zagreb, is a theatre, opera and ballet house. The University of Zagreb (1669) is the oldest and biggest university in South-Eastern Europe. Ever since its foundation, the University has been continually growing and developing and now consists 29 faculties, three art academies and the Centre for Croatian Studies. Afternoon depart for Plitvice.
Day 6: Plitvice (Breakfast, Dinner)
This morning you will be fascinated by the oldest and the largest national park in Croatia, Plitvice Lakes National Park. In 1979the national park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage. The 16 lakes are separated into an upper and lower cluster formed by runoff from the mountains, descending from an altitude of 636 to 503 m (2,087 to 1,650 ft) over a distance of some 8 kilometres (5.0 mi), aligned in a south–north direction. The lakes collectively cover an area of about 0.77 square miles, the water exiting from the lowest lake forming the Korana River. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colors change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight.
Day 7: Plitvice - Dubrovnik (Breakfast, Dinner)
Early in the morning you will be transferred back to Dubrovnik. Today is a free day. Dubrovnik is a city in southern Croatia fronting the Adriatic Sea. It's known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century.
Day 8: Departure from Dubrovnik (Breakfast)
After breakfast, free till departure transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for homebound flight.
