The beauty of Ha Long Bay does not consist only in the forms of its mountains, islands and colour of its waters, also in its infinitely rich system of grottoes and caves, each is a grandiose and refined natural architectural creation. On 17 Dec1994, Ha Long Bay was recognized as UNESCO world natural heritage.
DAY 1: Arrival in Ha noi (No Meal)
** Arrive in Ha Noi airport, your will be met and transferred to your hotel
** Check-in room for 3 nights stay and free at own leisure the rest of the day
DAY 2: Ha noi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Ha Noi City Tour (from 08:00 / 08:00am to 3:30 / 4:00pm)
** Pick-up at your hotel. City tour visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chih Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 – the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Ha Noi. Tour continues on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake, follow by visit Bat Trang Pottery Village. ** After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – its gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son Temple. Stopover at Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you will then have a chance for some shopping and exploration
DAY 3: Ha noi — Ha Long — Ha Noi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Ha Long Bay Cruise Tour (from 08:00 / 08:00am to 8:30pm)
** Enjoy the interesting 3.5hour drive (160km) to Ha Long Bay – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Have lunch on arrival. Take a boat trip about 4 hours journey, cruise through the emerald waters between the limestone outcrops and long corridors. You will visit Thien Cung Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay.
DAY 4: Depart from Ha Noi (Breakfast)
** Free till departure transfer to Hanoi airport for homebound flight.
