Day 1 Fri: Arrival in Barcelona (No Meal)
Welcome to Barcelona

Arrive in Barcelona airport, welcome and assist by our local representative for your transfer to hotel.

 

 

Day 2 Sat: Barcelona (Breakfast)
Grant Highlights of Barcelona

Enjoy a half day tour of Barcelona, starting with a sightseeing tour by bus that takes you up the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, where you will see the most famous Gaudi houses, Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera) as well as other majestic buildings of the Modernism era. Thereafter, head to the sea and admire the intense changes the city underwent with the organization of the Olympic Games in 1992. Drive by the Arc of the Triomf, Ciutadela Park, Olympic Village, Olympic Port, the beach and fisherman’s quarter, called Barceloneta, Port Vell, Plaza de Colon with its famous Columbus monument. Drive up the famous hill of Barcelona, Montjuic, and make a short stop in the Olympic Stadium Lluis Companys. Continue driving uphill towards Montjuic Castle, where you will enjoy a Cable Car Ride and breathtaking views of the city. The bus will pick you up at the last station and you will continue your Montjuic visit, passing by the sports facilities built for the 1992 Olympic Games: the Lluis Companys Stadium, Palau Sant Jordi, Olympic Swimming Pool Picornell until you get to the Spanish Village. Here, you will admire a collection of traditional buildings from all over Spain and a demonstration of a selection of handcrafts made in this country. During the drive back to the city center, you will be able to admire the Venetian Towers, Montjuic Fountains, MNAC and Las Arenas Shopping Mall that was rebuilt over the ancient bull ring. Arrive at the Plaza de Catalunya, the starting point of the guided Walking Tour of the Old City Center. You will be taken to the Ramblas, Cathedral Square, through the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter and Sant Jaume Square, where the city hall and the headquarters of the Catalonian government are located. The tour will end at Plaza de Catalunya, in front of the Hard Rock Cafe, in the city center.

 

 

Day 3 Sun: Barcelona – Lleida – Zaragoza – Madrid (Breakfast)
Travel from Barcelona to Madrid

This morning, hotel check-out and depart for Madrid at 8.00am. Sit back and relax on the long travelling journey, with short stops and free time in Lleida and Zaragoza. Upon arrival in Madrid, free at own leisure.

 

 

Day 4 Mon: Madrid – Córdoba – Seville (Breakfast, Dinner)
Tour of Roman City Córdoba

In the morning, you will travel southwards through the plains of La Mancha to Córdoba, an important Roman city and a major Islamic center in the Middle Ages. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour, visiting its famous Mosque / Cathedraland the old Jewish Quarter. Thereafter, proceed to Seville, the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region.

 

 

Day 5 Tue: Seville (Breakfast, Dinner)
See the Beauty of Seville

Start your day with a morning city tour of Seville, visiting the beautiful Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España, which is one of the most impressive squares and buildings of Spain. The plaza was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. Here, you can admire the canals, bridges, arches, fountains and the famous 48 azulejo benches, each representing a province of Spain. Then, proceed to the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz, a former Jewish quarter of the medieval city. In this old quarter, you will visit the outskirts of the Great Cathedral and its magnificent Giralda Bell Tower. After the tour, you will have the afternoon to continue exploring Seville at your own pace.

 

 

Day 6 Wed: Seville – Granada (Breakfast, Dinner)
Gardens and Palace of the Generalife

Today, you will set off to Granada. Visit to the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish Kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens and arches. The stunning walled palace complex dates back largely to the 13^th and 14^th centuries, and is home to some of Europe's most beautiful examples of Islamic architecture. Admire the intricately carved stonework and the complex geometric designs of the numerous courtyards, labyrinthine hallways and elegant gardens.

 

 

Day 7 Thu: Granada – Toledo – Departure from Madrid (Breakfast, Lunch)
The Historic City of Toledo

Bid farewell to Granada and head to the Imperial City of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage site with full of monumental and cultural heritage. Enjoy lunch and City Sightseeing throughout its narrow streets and alleys, before making your way back to Madrid, where you will be transferred to the airport for homebound flight.
