Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh (Lunch, Dinner)
Arrive in Phnom Penh Airport, your chauffeur guide will meet and welcome you, direct transfer to visit the Wat Phnom is on the only ‘hill’ in town. According to legend, the first pagoda on this site was erected in 1373 to house four statues of Buddha deposited here by the waters of the Mekong River and discovered by Penh, the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Afternoon, visit to the National Museum of Cambodia houses one of the world's greatest collections of Khmer cultural material including sculpture, ceramics and ethnographic objects from the prehistoric, pre-angkorian, angkorian and post-angkorian periods, Enjoy 01 hour Sunset Cruise and the Sisowath Quay along the riverfront till dinner at local restaurant. Day 2: Phnom Penh (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, visit to the Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum, In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot's security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21) and the Killing Fields of Cheung Ek are a number of sites in Cambodia where collectively more than a million people were killed and buried by the communist Khmer Rouge regime, during its rule of the country from 1975 to 1979, immediately after the end of the Cambodian Civil War (1970–1975). Afternoon, the Central Market (Phsar Thmei) in Phnom Penh is one of those busy bazaars that are always filled with effervescent crowd from one end to the other. The Central Market (Phsar Thmei) of Phnom Penh stocks everything right from food items to clothes, silverworks and jewelries, the former King Norodom Sihanouk statue and the Independence Monument or Vimean Ekareach – as it is referred to in Khmer, is a majestic structure that dominates Phnom Penh city center. Independence Monument was primarily erected to mark the liberation of the country from the French who ruled Cambodia for almost centuries from 1863 to 1953 till have dinner at local restaurant.
Day 3: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Today board a public air-conditioned bus to Siem Reap (Approximately 5 – 6 hours).
On arrival, our guide will pick you up and transfer to have your lunch before check in your hotel. Late afternoon visits to Angkor Silk Farm. Our guides will give you more details on the mulberry trees, silkworm farming, cocoon unwinding, preparation of the silk threads, ikat technique (tie-dyeing of the threads) and silk weaving. Next, visit to Les Artisans d’Angkor - Chantiers Ecole where visitors can observe students learning traditional carving and finishing techniques till dinner with Apsara Dance Show at local restaurant and transfer to Siem Reap hotel check in for 3 nights stay.
Day 4: Siem Reap (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
This morning proceed tour to Angkor Thom Area and Angkor Wat regions, discover visit to Angkor Thom Temple South Gate. Inside the walls of this city, you will tour toBayon Temple standing in the exact center of the city of Angkor Thom. Located 200m northwest of the Bayon is the Baphuon Temple, a single sanctuary temple-mountain situated on a high base. Next toPhimean Akas Temple built roughly hewn sandstone blocks and has little decoration. Continue to Elephants Terrace, dedicated to Buddhist and replica to the Bayon style of art. Afterwards head to Leper King Terrace faced with dramatic bas-reliefs and carriers on the grandeur theme that characterizes the building during Jayavaram VII’s region. You will also tour toRoyal Palace, Woman and Man Pond, enclosed by a laterite wall with only the base remaining today. Then to Ta-Prom Temple, built in the bayon style from late 12th to early 13th century, the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees After lunch growing out of the ruins and the jungle surrounding have made UNESCO World Heritage Site one of Angkor’s most visited temples. continue our journey to Angkor Wat Temple – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, built in between the 9th – 13th century till its beautiful sunset.
Day 5: Siem Reap (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Start your journey to Kbal Spean, which is located 50 km from Siem Reap. It takes about 1h to reach the site and you will spend a moderately easy 45-minute Uphill walk through the woods. Kbal Spean means literally “the head of the river”. This is one of the rivers of 1000 lingas made up of unique Lingas stands chiseled into the riverbed of the Siem Reap River. It was believed that the lingas spiritually fertilized the waters that fed the Eastern Baray and irrigated the rice fields. After have lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, we turn back to visit Banteay Srei. This is the fabled pink temple of women, so called because it is made of pink sandstone and considered a tribute to the beauty of women. Its small size, delicate carvings and remarkable state of preservation make Banteay Srei one of everyone’s favorite temples. It’s Apsara and male and femaledivinities represent the most skilled crafts-manship of sandstone carvings till transfer back to your hotel.
Day 6: Departure from Siem Reap (Breakfast)
After breakfast, free at own leisure till departure transfer to Siem Reap airport for homebound flight.
