Arrive in Mauritius airport, meet and greet by our local representative. You will be transferred to your hotel and check-in for 6 nights stay. Free at own leisure for the day.
Day 2: Mauritius (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
South Island Tour
A day focused on discovering the scenic interior landscapes of the island: Trou Aux Cerfs, an extinct crater overlooking the town of Curepipe and offering panoramic view of floreal;Curepipe it was the first town in the island to run on electricity, travelled from the main ports, Port Louis and Grand Port to refills their pipes in Curepipe. The Grand Bassin, a pilgrimage site for the local Hindu community; the viewpoint of the Black River Gorges a 6500-hectare park proclaimed nature reserve in 1994 and is the largest national park in Mauritius. A visit at the Rhumerie de Chamarel, lean about the fermentation and distillation of agricultural rums. Off to Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth created by volcanic rocks that cooled at different temperatures offering hillside of patterns of Colour. During the day, stopover at a ship model factory and a souvenir shop. A lunch stops at one of the restaurants in Chamarel.
Day 3: Mauritius (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
North Island Tour
Discover the highlights of the capital city of Port Louis. The Citadelle enjoy a view stretching over the city of Port-Louis from the Citadel, the historic Fort Adelaide built by English in 1835; The Government House, one of the oldest colonial heritages of the capital; The Central Market, a typical bazaar that reflects the Mauritian mosaic, with its handicraft, vegetables, spices… and a shopping stop at The Caudan Waterfront with its duty-free designer shops and jewellery, craft market, spices and souvenirs. A lunch stops at local restaurant. Afterwards visit to the Pamplemousses Garden the oldest botanical garden in the southern hemisphere, will known for its giants waterlilies and a wide variety of no less than 500 and exotics plants; L’Aventure du Sucre sugar museum and you will learn about history of sugar. Last stop at Grand Bay it is a shopping paradise with designer shops and Cap Malheureux a peaceful and pictuesque fishing village.
Day 4: Mauritius (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Tea Route Tour
The day begins with a visit of theDomaine des Aubineaux, a colonial house dating from 1872 that relates the history of tea in Mauritius, followed by a guided tour of the Bois Cheri a tea factory produces range of flavored teas, green teas and herbal teas its museum. 3rd stop at Domaine de Saint Aubin House The estate produces sugar cane which is then processed to make sugar as well as delicious rum. An Authentic Mauritian cuisine served at the Saint Aubin Restaurant in the old colonial mansion where you will take a tour of the estate, visit its sugar and vanilla plantations, its rum and essential oils distillery. Final stop at TheLa Vanille Réserve des Mascareignesnature parkfamous for its Crocodiles & Giant Tortoises, this park is home to various species of animals, reptiles and plants is set in a beautiful rain forested valley with natural freshwater springs, full of prawns and fish.
Day 5: Mauritius (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
South East Tour
Start your day to visit Vieux Grand Port as an excellent port city for trade which was fought between the French Navy and British Royal Navy for the possession of the harbor. Next Biscuiterie H Rault specialize in the production of cassava biscuits, you will have the opportunity witness the century old recipe in the making and may even run into one of the family members. Continue to Eureka Creole house dedicated to music, art, antique maps, Chinese and Indian house wares and quickly contraptions like a colonial-era-shower. Head to La Belle Creole Restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch with a unique dining experience. Next visit to Mahebourg a traditional Mauritian Village, the Mahebourg Monday Market is worth a visit also for the non-shoppers and stop at Naval Museum is the French colonial empire and the replicas of the ancillary that were used in the historical battele. Off to Blue Bay Beach with its crystal clear turquoise blue water is considered one of the most beautiful beaches.
