Day 1: Arrival in Cairo (No Meal)

Arrive in Cairo airport, welcome and assist by our local representative for your transfer to hotel.

 

 

Day 2: Cairo (Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit A Seven Wonder Of The World

Start your day with a tour to witness one of the most iconic sights in the world – the Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at the breathtaking monument of the world-famous Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was tallest man-made structure in the world for almost 4,000 years. Then move on to the well-known Great Sphinx of Giza, a statue of a mythical creature with a body of a lion and a human head, which stands proudly guarding the tombs of the Pharaohs. Next, you will proceed to the Egyptian Museum and be enchanted by the splendid treasures recovered from the tomb of Tutankhamun, including his golden mask. Take this chance to meet the Egyptian mummies in the Royal Mummies Hall and have a good idea of what he or she looked like in life 3,000 years ago, with a small fee. Continue tour to Old Cairo, also known as Coptic Cairo, where you will see the old churches, one of which is among the world’s oldest and especially sacred as it was blessed with a visit from the holy family during their flee to Egypt.

 

 

Day 3: Cairo (Breakfast, Lunch)
Virgin Marry Tree - The Shadow Of Jesus

This morning, you will visit the Tree of Virgin Mary in the Cairo district of Matareya. This sycamore tree still stands to this day and has been a place of pilgrimage for Coptic Christians for many centuries, who come to pray or touch it, believing that it will heal illness. According to local beliefs, the Virgin Mary rested against the tree and a spring of water sprang up near it for Mary to wash the infant Jesus. Next, proceed to St. Mary’s Coptic Church in Zeitoun, where the apparitions of Virgin Mary occurred atop the church’s roof in 1968 – 1971. Thereafter, you will visit the Cathedral of St. Mark in Azbakia.

 

 

Day 4: Cairo – Wadi El Natrun – Alexandria (Breakfast, Lunch)

Morning hotel check-out and proceed to Wadi El Natrun, a small city between Cairo and Alexandria. You will visit the Coptic Monasteries of this area, learn about Coptic faith and their lifestyle, and pray at one of the holy. Coptic churches belong to the Egyptian Christian and it is one of the oldest monasteries and churches in the world visited by people from all over the world. Visit two of the most famous monasteries in Egypt – Monastery of Saint Pishoy and Monastery of the Syrians then continue to the Mediterranean city of Alexandria for overnight.

 

 

Day 5: Alexandria – Cairo (Breakfast, Lunch)
Alexandria The Birthplace Of Christianity In Egypt

Alexandria city is considered the birthplace of the Christianity in Egypt. It was introduced by St. Mark in the 1st century AD during the Roman Era. The people of Alexandria converted into Christianity rapidly, after fighting with the Roman until Christianity became the main religion of Egypt. You will visit some Churches and enjoy Sightseeing in Alexandria, before making your way back to Cairo.

 

 

Day 6: Cairo – Moses Springs – Saint Catherine (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Egypt Christian Journey – The Steps Of Jesus

In the morning, you will set off to Sinai Peninsula to Saint Catherine. On the way, make a stop to visit the Moses Springs as mentioned in the Holy Bible, where the prophet Moses is believed to have, upon the command of God, throw a unique tree into the brackish water that made the spring water drinkable. Continue journey to Mount Sinai. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel at the Holy Valley and get ready for your next adventure. Hike to the summit of the famous Mount Sinai, also known as Mount Moses, which is believed to be the place where God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush and gave him the Ten Commandments. Enjoy the incredible views of the Sinai wilderness, before heading to the Saint Catherine's Monastery, officially "Sacred Monastery of the God-Trodden Mount Sinai”. This UNESCO World Heritage site lies on the Sinai Peninsula, at the mouth of a gorge at the foot of Mount Sinai, in the city of Saint Catherine. Built between 548 and 565, it is one of the oldest functioning Christian monasteries in the world.

 

 

Day 7: Saint Catherine – Cairo (Breakfast)
From Biblical Sites To Victorious City

Bid farewell to Saint Catherine. Sit back and relax on the long drive back to Cairo. Lunch will be along the way at a local restaurant. Upon arrival in Cairo, check-in to your hotel and free at own leisure.

 

 

Day 8: Departure from Cairo (Breakfast)

Free at own leisure till departure transfer to Cairo airport for homebound flight.
