Midnight arrives in Colombo airport, meet and transfer to Negombo and catch some sleeps in your hotel. In morning after breakfast, check-out and proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, an orphanage started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including baby elephants brought from various parts, as well as the 23 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding program. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000hrs and 1330-1400hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030hrs and 1400-1430hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river located across the orphanage. After golf, have a short city sightseeing pass by Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre and Gem Museum. After which, you will enjoy watching Kandy Cultural Show & Kandyan Dance. Evening visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic -- ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession.

 

 

Today, leave Kandy to Nuwara Eliya by express luxury train. Experience train ride in Sri Lanka while enjoying a picturesque journey travel through beautiful landscape and cascading waterfalls of Sri Lanka and its rich nature. Your guide will re-meet you at the arrival station and transfer you to Nuwara Eliya – The “Little England” of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya which means the "city of lights" is also the city of eternal spring, where the air is pure, cool and distilled up through 1,884 meters; windswept peaks lie shrouded in mist. City sightseeing of Nuwara Eliya includes a visit to the Sita Amman Temple.

 

 

This morning, enjoy your 2nd round of golf game in Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. The course in Nuwara Eliya Golf Club has some extremely tough and exciting Par 3 holes, significant elevation changes, massive trees that the fairways make broad landing areas look small in comparison. It has very tight holes where an inaccurate shot with a slight deviation in angle is heavily penalized. It’s designed in a manner that you should never let your guard down and maintain your level of focus. Along the scenic road journey back to Colombo city, a stop will be made for visit to a Tea Plantation and Tea Factory and have a taste of Ceylon Tea.

 

 

After breakfast, check-out and proceed to the Royal Colombo Golf Club. The Royal Colombo Golf Club is a flat course with broad fairways which looks simple to beginners but it can be highly deceiving, there are many water hazards and bunkers. The golf club is a jewel in the city of Colombo surrounded by residential areas and business establishments. The beautiful fairway, natural habitats of some rare species of fauna and flora are the characteristics that make RGGC a jewel in the city. After golf, a drive-through in the city takes you to the busy commercial areas as well as the Tree-lined Residential, Cinnamon Gardens, Fort, the former British Administrative Center and Military Garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749 and the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha & the Independence Square. After drive-through city sightseeing, do your last minute shopping in the biggest shopping mall ODEL. At late night, bid farewell to Sri Lanka and tour ends at the airport for your midnight flight departure.
