Day 2: Cape Town (Breakfast)
Captivating Cape Town Tour
This morning, you will go on a half day sightseeing tour of Cape Town including a visit to the famous Table Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Begin your day with a Cable Car Ride to the peak of Table Mountain, a must-see attraction for all visitors to Cape Town. The Table Mountain cableway boasts revolving floors, giving passengers a 360-degree panoramic view of the surroundings. From the summit of Table Mountain on a clear day, you are rewarded with spectacular views of the city, its Waterfront, Camps Bay, the majestic Hottentots Holland Mountains to the East and the mountains of the Cape Peninsula all the way down to Cape Point to the south. Take your time and enjoy this unique scenery, go for a walk or have a bite at the restaurant while admiring the great view. After descending the mountain, you will depart on a tour of the “Mother City” taking in Signal Hill – where the Noon Gun is fired at mid-day (daily except Sundays and public holidays) – through the colourful Bo-Kaap or Cape Malay Quarter, past the Grand Parade, City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope and South African Cultural History Museum.
Day 3: Cape Town (Breakfast)
Charming Cape Point Tour
Today, you will embark on a Full-day Cape Peninsula Tour. Enjoy a scenic drive along the picturesque Atlantic coastline from Cape Town to Cape Point, passing by the fishing village of Hout Bay, travel along Chapman’s Peak Drive, proceed through the picturesque Noordhoek Beach, before arriving at Cape Point Nature Reserve. Cape Point is popularly referred to as the mythical meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Ocean. Walk up or take the funicular to the Old Lighthouse to enjoy breathtaking views of the two oceans and surrounding coastline. You will also see the New Lighthouse that was built in 1911. It remains one of the most powerful lighthouses on the South African coast, with a range of 60 kilometres and a luminous intensity of 10 million candelas. Continue tour to Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town to see the endangered African Penguin Colony in their natural habitat. Drive pass Kalk Bay on your return route and make a last stop at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, situated at the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. The 528 hectares estate includes a cultivated garden and a nature reserve. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage in 2004.
Day 4: Cape Town – Barrydale – Oudtshoorn (Breakfast, Dinner)
Ravishing Coastline Road Trip
Get ready to depart Cape Town and make your way into the picturesque Garden Route, home to modern golf courses, beautiful beaches, lagoons and coves as well as indigenous forest, beautiful flowers (hence its name) and quaint towns. The Garden Route was added to UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves in 2017. You will travel along the renowned Route 62, a scenic tourist route that stretches across the Western and Eastern Capes of South Africa, to Barrydale for lunch (own expenses). Continue journey to Oudtshoorn, known as the Ostrich Capital of the World, famous for its ostriches and the magnificent Cango Caves. Upon arrival, you will visit the entertaining and educational Safari Ostrich Show Farm. The tour starts in the breeding camp, with a nest of ostrich eggs, where the first stage of the ostrich life cycle is explained. You will get the opportunity to test the strength of the eggs by standing on them – a great photo opportunity. If you are lucky, you may see ostrich eggs hatching in the incubator rooms. Here, you can get a chance to sit on an ostrich and those who are brave enough can even try their hand at riding one. The tour ends with an "Ostrich Derby”, where local jockeys display their riding skills. Thereafter, check into your accommodation in the late afternoon before enjoying dinner.
Day 5: Oudtshoorn – Knysna – Plettenberg Bay (Breakfast, Dinner)
Discover Picturesque Garden Route
Enjoy a morning tour to the mysterious and spectacular Cango Caves, the largest show caves in Africa, permeated with sparkling stalactites and stalagmites, and impressive rock formations. The caves were formed by rainwater seeping through fissures in the limestone over 20 million of years. The complex of the caves is regarded as one of the great natural wonders in the world. Continue to the lagoon side town of Knysna, the gem of the Garden Route, where you will enjoy some leisure time at the Knysna Waterfront. Then, proceed to The Crags near Plettenberg Bay, before embarking on a Boat Tour to explore the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve. Sit back and relax with an ice-cold beverage, admire the majestic scenery as you slip along shimmering waters cascading with dense pristine forest. After the boat excursion, transfer to your lodge in Plettenberg Bay, a charming seaside town with miles of pristine beaches, tranquil lagoons, clean rivers, indigenous forests and a dramatic rocky peninsula. Freshen up before dinner at the lodge.
Day 6: Plettenberg Bay (Breakfast, Dinner)
Garden Route Safari and Tour
In the morning, get up close and personal with nature at the Elephant Sanctuary, The Crags. Set in an indigenous forest, the Elephant Sanctuary provides exciting and interactive African elephant experiences. It offers you the opportunity to touch, feed and photograph these gentle giants. You may even walk trunk-in-hand with them. After lunch, you will visit Birds of Eden, the largest free flight aviary and bird sanctuary in the world. This unique bird sanctuary is an enormous two-hectare dome spanning a gorge filled with verdant forest. Within it are over 3,500 birds from over 220 species, including incredible African birds, a few of them endangered. It provides anyone entering the dome with a literal experience of paradise.
Day 7: Plettenberg Bay – Tsitsikamma National Park – Port Elizabeth (Breakfast)
Garden Route National Park Tour
Bid farewell to Plettenberg Bay and journey along the final leg of the Garden Route to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. The park is not only a breathtaking haven for indigenous flora and fauna, but also for marine life. A marine conservation belt forms part of the park, stretching five and a half kilometres out into the ocean. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River Mouth Gorge, which offers you incredible views and photo opportunities. You will spend the night in Port Elizabeth.
Day 8: Port Elizabeth – Johannesburg – Sun City (Breakfast)

Transfer to Port Elizabeth airport for your domestic night flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel in Sun City.
Day 9: Sun City (Breakfast)
