In the morning, pick up from the hotel’s lobby for Half Day City Tour where you will enjoy an eye-opening four-hour tour that unfolds parts of the Bruneian history, religion, culture, heritage, and the daily lifestyle of the local people. Then, there will be a photo stop outside the Royal Palace, Istana Nurul Iman, which is the biggest residential Palace in the world, and also visit the magnificently built Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque. Get set to tour “The Venice of the East”, the famous Water Village on breath-taking water taxi ride, and take a stroll to witness the houses built on stilts. Located nearby the water village, The Malay Technology Museum is a gallery which displays tributes to the lifestyle of Malays and the ethnic tribes of Brunei. Next stop is Royal Regalia Museum, home to a collection of magnificent royal regalia, the royal chariot, gold and silver ceremonial armoury, and most importantly His Majesty’s jewel encrusted crown, which was used during his coronation in 1968.

Stop at open market, a place where locals buy their daily products, some ‘ready to eat’ food, handicrafts, local herbs and medicinal plants. Visit the Malay Technology Museum which has galleries on the Malays, ethnic tribes and their lifestyles. Then, have a photo stop at the tomb of Sultan Bolkiah who was the fifth ruler of Islamic Brunei and his reign is known as the nation’s golden age. Visit to Brunei Arts and Handicraft Centre where local arts & handicrafts such as weaving, silverware, krises, basketry, songkok, and others are being displayed and for sales. Next, visit to Royal Regalia Museum which is home to a collection of royal regalia, royal chariot, gold and silver ceremonial armoury. Drop off at one of the shopping mall for shopping and lunch at own expense. After that, proceed to a jetty for a boat ride at the Water Village and take a walk along the plank walk at the village to visit one of the local houses where they will be served with light local refreshment. Day 2: Brunei (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
In the morning, pick up from the hotel’s lobby for Ulu Ulu 2 Days 1 Night Package, an excellent tour for nature lovers or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Ulu Temburong National Park is 50,000 hectares of pristine rainforest with one of the best biodiversity in the world. You will experience up close the wonders of the rainforest; listen to the orchestra of nature’s music by the insects, birds and animals. This tour is rated as a soft adventure and suitable for those reasonably fit as there are many steps to climb and some slippery, wet tracks and uphill hiking. The journey to the national park from Bandar Seri Begawan is itself interesting as you go on three different modes of transport and see the change in vegetation. The trip departs Bandar Seri Begawan in the morning and we will proceed by public speedboat to Bangar town before we go overland to Batang Duri. At Batang Duri, we will ride on a long boat or temuai up the rapids to the national park. After lunch, prepare for water activities as you will walk to the Two River Terrace for guided kayaking trip and river tubing activity. You will enjoy swimming in the mini waterfall as well. After that, transfer back to hotel to get ready for the night jungle walk.
Day 3: Brunei (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning call will be at 4.30am and after a light breakfast, proceed to the canopy walk for the sunrise view that literally takes your breath away. When the mist lifts, you will see birds flying out to feed and gibbons calling across the treetops. We will then return to the resort for breakfast and rest before heading to the mini waterfall where we can enjoy fish massage as well as a jungle trekking back to the resort. Lunch will be served before we return to Bandar Seri Begawan. Drop off at hotel and check in once arrive back in Bandar Seri Begawan. Free at leisure.
