Batam Hills Golf Resort is an 18-hole championship course with a length of more than 6,200 meters, designed by Australian designer Max Wexler. It is located in the Waterfront City area of Batam Island. The golf course was formerly known as Paradise Bay Golf Club before it has been renovated in 2006. This par 72 parkland course offers a challenging landscape designed for both beginner and professional golfers, featuring undulating fairways, Tifdwarf Bermuda grass, water hazards and strategically placed bunkers in its two distinct 9-hole loops. The front nine is laid out through a jungle environment, providing undulating and tree-lined fairways, while the more open and less hilly back nine is surrounded by wide fairways. The signature hole is the par 3 hole #4 which plays at 140 meters, requires an accurate tee shot to a well-guarded green.
