A classic parkland course established in 1885, Royal Cape Golf Club is the oldest golf course in South Africa. Designed for golfers of all skill levels, this 18-hole championship course is one of the best and most challenging courses in the country. It is laid out on a flat terrain, offering sweeping views of the magnificent Table Mountain. The fairways are narrow and require high accuracy. The trees can severely penalize wayward shots and the greens are heavily bunkered. Among the signature holes, the most difficult is the par 4 hole #14, a dogleg right played into the prevailing winds with water guarding the right front side of the green. The Royal Cape Golf Club has hosted the South African Open ten times as well as many other professional and top amateur events. It has also been hosting the Cape Town Open since 2012.
After golf, pay a visit to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Situated at the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. The 528 hectares estate includes a cultivated garden and a nature reserve. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage in 2004.
Day 5: Cape Town (Breakfast)
Nestled in the pristine and tranquil Silvermine Valley close to Fish Hoek in Cape Town lies Clovelly Country Club. With one of the finest golf courses in South Africa, Clovelly offers its members and visitors a memorable experience. Clovelly - like fine Cape wines - improves steadily with age, and its vintage and quality is well established throughout South Africa, and indeed, beyond our shores. This reputation is founded on the warmth of Clovelly’s “family” character and its outstanding facilities. The club is proud to have been voted as the most Popular Course in South Africa by a panel from Golf Digest SA.
After golf itinerary is the Cape Peninsula Tour. The tour starts with a drive along the Atlantic Seaboard passing along Sea Point, Camps Bay and a stop at Hout Bay Harbour. On your way back to the city, you will stop at Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.
Day 6: Cape Town (Breakfast)
Be excited for truly outstanding golf experience at the multi award-winning Jack Nicklaus signature masterpiece Pearl Valley Golf Club. Pearl Valley was ranked in the top 10 courses in South Africa by Golf Digest from 2006 to 2019 and was ranked as the #2 Golf Course in South Africa for the year 2021 by SA's Top 100 Courses. In addition, it was named the Best Conditioned Golf Course in the Western Cape from 2010 – 2019 and has been awarded the Five Star Experience Award for six consecutive years by Compleat Golfer. The course features lush fairways that are green all year round, excellent bunkering and creative water features. Each of the 18 holes is set against the mountains that surround Pearl Valley. The layout was designed with the prevailing winds in mind, with all the par 3s and par 5s playing in different directions, providing a variety of conditions for the golfers. Day 1: Arrive in Johannesburg – Sun City (No Meal)
Arrive at Johannesburg airport, meet & greet by our Joburg travel representative who will assist with a private transfer to Sun City. On arrival, check-in to The Palace or Soho Hotel for a 3 nights’ stay.
Day 2: Sun City (Breakfast)
Tee-off for 1st 18-hole of golf at The Lost City Golf Course. The course was carved out of undulating and rocky terrain. Situated over a hill from the Gary Player Country Club, The Lost City’s layout is different in character. With the wide fairways and receptive greens, it is a fantastic golf experience for golfers of varying standards. The Lost City Golf Course covers more than 100 hectares and incorporates 28,000 square meters of water features – not surprisingly golf carts are compulsory. The most hazardous area of The Lost City Golf Course is the #13 signature hole. Inhabiting the water hazard are Nile crocodiles, some of them nearly two meters long. Golfers are discouraged from retrieving their wayward balls from the croc infested pool. The unusual water hazard is just one of the features that make The Lost City Golf Course exciting and interesting to play. No effort was spared to make the course a masterpiece.
In the afternoon, meet game tracker’s representative in the hotel lobby for Big 5 Game Drive in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. This world-famous Pilanesberg Game Reserve is located inside a 1300-million-year-old volcanic complex and offers a wide variety of beautiful landscapes. The park is home to a great diversity of plants and animals, including the Big 5 – namely African buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino. More than 300 bird species make things interesting for avid birders. Exploring the park in an open game drive vehicle offers the best vantage point to see the intricacy of its flora and fauna. This is your chance to get up close and personal with nature.
Day 3: Sun City (Breakfast)
Be excited for an unforgettable game at Gary Player Country Club – ranked no.3 in South Africa. The Gary Player Country Club is acknowledged as a difficult and demanding course. Since 1981 it has been home to the Nedbank Challenge. The course requires stamina and accuracy from players. The comparatively flat nature of the golf course is misleading – water hazards, cunningly sited bunkers and pins hidden away on kidney shaped greens makes up for the lack of gradient. The course is immaculate with generally wide kikuyu fairways and bent greens. Although this parkland course is fairly flat, the many water hazards, cunning sited bunkers (the fairway bunkers have just been deepened) and hidden pin placement make up for the lack of gradient. This course also cuts through the African bush leaving the fairways with only the bushveld as a border.
Day 4: Sun City – Johannesburg – Cape Town (Breakfast)
In the morning, private transfer to Johannesburg airport and check-in for your domestic flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town airport, meet and embark on a City Tour around Cape Town with a trip up to the Table Mountain, a must-see attraction for all visitors to Cape Town. The Table Mountain cableway boasts revolving floors, giving passengers a 360-degree panoramic view of the surroundings. From the summit of Table Mountain on a clear day, you are rewarded with spectacular views of the city, its Waterfront, Camps Bay, the majestic Hottentots Holland Mountains to the East and the mountains of the Cape Peninsula all the way down to Cape Point to the south. As you tour the Mother City, you will visit Company's Garden and Greenmarket Square, and take a Walking Tour of Cape Town City and Grand Parade. The tour continues with a stop at the historic Bo-Kaap, before driving past District Six, Houses of Parliament and the Waterfront area. After tour, proceed to check-in to the hotel for 4 nights stay.
Day 5: Cape Town (Breakfast)
Begin Cape Town golf holiday at Erinvale Golf Club, a true championship course that is widely considered to be one of the finest golfing destinations in South Africa. Set at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain in Somerset West, Erinvale Golf Club is surrounded by heritage wine farms and the beautiful Helderberg Nature Reserve. Designed by Gary Player, this magnificent course, has some of South Africa's most challenging and spectacular holes. Featuring two distinct nines, the front nine winds its way through narrow fairways flanked by exquisite properties, while the back nine is more elevated, flowing beautifully into the foot of the mountain with panoramic views over False Bay, surrounding vineyards, olive groves and the Helderberg Nature Reserve. A variety of pin positions is offered on the generous greens at Erinvale, which are well-protected by bunkers and water features. After golf, be prepared to enjoy wine tasting at Ernie Els Winery.
Day 6: Cape Town (Breakfast)
Play a memorable round of golf at Clovelly Country Club.

On your way back to the city, visit to Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.
Day 7: Cape Town – Paarl – Cape Town (Breakfast)
Gear up for final round of golf at the multi award-winning championship course Pearl Valley Golf Club. Day 1: Arrive in George (No Meal)
Arrive at George airport, you will be met by Fancourt representative who will assist with the transfer to the South Africa’s premier golf resort - Fancourt Hotel where you will check-in for a 4 nights’ stay. If time permit, you may wish to play an optional round at the Outeniqua Course. Fancourt Outeniqua Course, named after the mountain range that overlooks the area has a different look than the Montagu, so they complement each other perfectly as varying playing experiences. The Outeniqua is regarded as the easier course of the two, being more open in appearance, yet it has its share of challenges and risk-and-reward moments. Water hazards or streams come into play on as many as 11 of the holes, including 4 of the last 5.
Day 2: George (Breakfast)
Morning golf at the Fancourt Montagu Course. Montagu, named after the Montagu pass was originally designed by Gary Player and is a much celebrated parkland course and has been ranked as the number-one golf course in South Africa in the past and is currently ranked as No. 6 Best Conditioned (Golf Digest Rankings 2012). The exquisitely conditioned Montagu is at the heart of Fancourt, with its glorious parkland layout, covering large tracts of varying terrain on rolling land. It’s beauty is enhanced by matured trees, flower beds, shrubs and water hazards that provide a colourful contrast to the landscape. The signature hole is the Par-3 #17th, reminiscent of the 12th hole at Augusta National - the permanent home of the US Masters.
Day 3: George – Knysna – George (Breakfast)
Travel to the picturesque town of Knysna and enjoy great golfing experience at Pezula Championship Course. The course is situated in the very heart of the Garden Route, on sweeping coastal cliffs, lies high above the Indian Ocean and the vast Knysna Lagoon – a sweeping spectacle of fairways and greens rolling through the pristine indigenous landscape. The course’s designers, Ron Fream and David Dale have compared the look of Pezula golf course to that of Gleneagles in the Scottish Highlands and Pebble Beach on the Monterey coastline. A terrain of rolling fairways, fynbos and evebrow bunker does, however, make it very difficult to walk this course. The 5 different tee options on every hole cater for all skill levels. No 2 challenges, or views, are alike. The signature holes are the 3 holes built on the cliff top overlooking the ocean; the par 5 13th, par 4 14th and the par 3 15th. The par 4 14th is particularly challenging – it is short and requires you to lay-up before firing at the pin. The green is completely surrounded by bunkers so be careful not to overshoot out-of-bounds and over the cliff. After golf, you may want to visit Knysna Waterfront to sample the delicious oysters for which Knysna is famous for. No trip to Knysna would be complete without sampling the region’s incredible gourmet oysters.
Day 4: George (Breakfast)
Proceed to the must-play in Fancourt The Links Course ranked no. 2 in South Africa. The Links, which Gary Player has often referred to as his greatest design feat. Fancourt owner Dr Hasso Plattner, who took a very hands-on approach in the creation thereof, commissioned a golf course, which would not only be a thorough test for every golfer, but would also rank among the top courses in the world. The Links was the host venue for the 2003 Presidents Cup, which ended in an historic tie after a dramatic play-off between Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. In early 2005, it was the host venue for the Women’s World Cup of Golf. In December 2005, The Links hosted the South African Open, the world’s second-oldest national Open Championship and in 2010, the Berenberg Bank Senior Masters. Most recently in January 2012, the Volvo Golf Champions was played at The Links.
Day 5: George – Mossel Bay – Kleinmond (Breakfast)
Today, hotel check-out and proceed to the prestigious Pinnacle Point Golf Club, South Africa’s #1 Golf Course in 2016, 2017 and 2020. Set on a clifftop overlooking the Indian Ocean, Pinnacle Point Golf Club is no doubt one of the most spectacular courses in the world. This 18-hole championship course is located at Mossel Bay on the Garden Route, halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Established in 2006, it was named as one of the world’s top ten best new courses in 2007. Known for its breathtaking views and dramatic holes, this scenic golf course was designed by well-known South African golf course architect Peter Matkovich and golf professional Darren Clarke. With 7 kilometers of fairways and 80 bunkers, the Indian Ocean is the only water hazard in this challenging course. A total of seven holes lines the rock cliffs, offering panoramic views of the ocean. Four of these holes are played over the ocean and cliff. Relax and overnight at Arabella Hotel.
Day 6: Kleinmond – Cape Town (Breakfast)
Play an enjoyable morning golf at its signature course the Arabella Golf Club. The golf course staggers along the Bot River Lagoon, with incredible views of Arabella’s own gardens, manicured lawns and sculpted botanical life. The golf estate course was designed by Peter Matkovich, among the golf estate awards and distinctions, the 18th hole was voted the best finishing hole in South Africa. Arabella golf estate is ranked as the fourth best golfing experience by a top-rated golfing magazine.
Hotel check-out follow by City Tour around Cape Town with a trip up to the Table Mountain, a must-see attraction for all visitors to Cape Town. Although this parkland course is fairly flat, the many water hazards, cunning sited bunkers (the fairway bunkers have just been deepened) and hidden pin placement make up for the lack of gradient. This course also cuts through the African bush leaving the fairways with only the bushveld as a border.

The course is immaculate with generally wide kikuyu fairways and bent greens. Although this parkland course is fairly flat, the many water hazards, cunning sited bunkers (the fairway bunkers have just been deepened) and hidden pin placement make up for the lack of gradient. The Links was the host venue for the 2003 Presidents Cup, which ended in an historic tie after a dramatic play-off between Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. In early 2005, it was the host venue for the Women’s World Cup of Golf.
