Khao Yai Golf

On arrival in Bangkok international airport, your private chauffeur guide will meet and welcome you. Move upwards northeast to Nakhon Ratchasima, about 2 hours journey you will arrive in Khao Yai. Be excited to tee off for 1st game at Bonanza Golf and Country Club. It is a par 72, 18-hole parkland course, playing at 7,482 yards, located in the cooler elevations near Khao Yai National Park. This scenic golf course offers holes for various levels of golfers. The layout has elevation changes of about 120 feet, sloping south to north with several big reservoirs at the northern end of the course. Most fairways are lined with large trees and bunkers are located in strategic landing areas and around the greens. The signature hole is the par five 13th which plays at 664 yards from the championship tees. It is marked to be the longest and hardest hole in the whole course.

The ambience resembles the environment of the picturesque Tuscany in Italy, with limestone cliffs making for a beautiful backdrop. It features raised greens, deep bunkers and razor-sharp fairway drops-offs on every hole. Several of the par 4s have 200 plus yards water carries and all greens have severe contours and large breaks for almost every pin position.

It features a challenging 18 holes and 72 pars in an area of 7,131 yards, surrounded by beautiful scenery and fresh air of Dong Phaya Yen Mountains. Designed by Bob McFarland, the course is fun to play and offers challenges for golfers of all skill levels. The layout is rather flat compared to other golf courses in Khao Yai, and the fairways are more open. The front nine plays around a country farmhouse, while the back nine stretches around a flat piece of land with a nice backdrop of hills and mountains.
