This golf course was designed by Colin Montgomerie. Situated on the north side of Mount Hall, there are three courses at Roan, the Stone Course, Lake Course and Pine Course nestled in breathtaking views of Hallasan Mountain, the surrounding volcanic hills and the blue ocean. The 2nd hole of Stone Course became famous when Tiger Woods played for a skins game in an exhibition tournament on 14th November 2004. It is intimidating if you hit a tee shot with greed to hit it far and the approach shot for attacking the green required precision.
