Chunichi Country Club is a 27-hole par 108 golf course located in Suzuka City. It was opened for play in 1979 and offers spectacular views of the magnificent Suzuka mountain range. The course has been divided into three sets of 9 holes, namely West Course, Middle Course and East Course. The terrain is relatively flat, but the trees and forest which surround the golf course made test for players of all abilities. It has a dual green system with Bentgrass, and the fairways are Korai grass. At Chunichi Country Club, you can combine two different sets of nine holes to create a new round of golf, which makes it a great experience.

Excellent Golf Club Ise Otori Course is internationally known for hosting the spectacular match between Tiger Woods and Hideki Maruyama. Located in Tsu City, this magnificent 18-hole golf course is opened for play on 27 August 1998 and has a choice of four tee positions. Aside from the hilly terrain throughout, the course features wide fairways, undulating greens and beautifully maintained bunkers which awaits the challenge of golfers. Water is dominant in the layout. Two additional ponds come into play on 5 holes as these holes involve shots over water requiring accuracy and adequate judgement. Among the signature holes on the course is hole #9, a long and difficult par 4, which requires careful approach shots due to the green’s floating islands.

Designed by the late Seiichi Inoue, Ise Country Club is set out on gently undulating terrain in Tamaki, Mie. It was the first Japanese course to use two greens per hole, which is still favoured by many clubs today. Listed 19th in Japan, the course is a good test of both mental and physical skill. It requires the use of intelligent shot making and strategy at times. Ise Country Club is a challenging golf course with rating of 73.5. Narrow fairways lined by trees, well-placed bunkers layout and water comes into play occasionally. There are several notable holes on the course, including the right doglegged par 4 hole #2, the left doglegged hole #6 and the par 3 hole #9, which plays across an irrigation pond to the peninsula greens complex.

Opened in 1960, Mie Country Club is one of the oldest clubs which features a relaxed layout that takes advantage of the flat terrain at the foot of Mount Gozaisho, in Komono. A few elevation changes across the 18-hole course provides some wonderful vistas. Water is not abundant but bunkers are well-positioned, creating a few difficult shot selections. Each hole has a relatively wide fairway, making it ideal for beginners too. The signature hole #12 is well-known for its optical illusion created by the designer Yoten Yasuda, earning its reputation of the “Impregnable Green”.
