Burapha Golf Club has hosted several professional tournaments including the 2010 Thailand Open. The 36-holes at Burapha have been created to fully utilize the beauty of the land and its natural features- lakes, hills, palms trees and tropical vegetation, all skillfully landscaped. Designed by Americans Gary Panks and David Graham; Burapha Golf Club is laid out on hilly terrain. The East (A-B) Course features wide fairways and is perfect for the up & coming golfer. The West (C-D) Course is a challenge for more advanced and professional golfers. The golf courses are both well maintained, fairways and greens generally kept in tip top condition, and the holes are well placed. With lush, verdant Thai countryside and jungle-clad hills all around, Burapha is home to 36-holes of links and parkland style golf. The American (A) and British (B) nines are parkland in style. While the Crystal (C) and Dunes (D) nines are more open links style layouts.
The elevated tee-boxes give an excellent view onto the holes laid out below. Around the greens clinging semi-rough joins forces with good-quality bunkering to put a premium on hitting the assorted-sized greens. The four Burapha courses provide a picturesque and testing golfing outing in a pleasant, lightly tree-lined setting. The four nines at Burapha give the opportunity to look across the valley to the impressive clubhouse of Laem Chabang Golf Club, but on the Dunes nine the views gets more amazing than that. The golfer will be rewarded with an extraordinary panorama across the surrounding countryside. The Pattaya high rise condominiums, the Laem Chabang port, the ocean and large offshore islands are all in clear view. This open, undulating Dunes course is more challenging than its front-nine companion, the Crystal course. With a mix of lightly tree-lined and water protected holes, the Crystal nine provides a gentle lead-in to the more challenging and spectacularly scenic Dunes course. Pattaya golf travelers can enjoy their golf in a very tranquil and soft setting. The Burapha clubhouse serves good reasonably priced local and international food in the golfers’ restaurant.

The Khao Kheow 27-hole golf course is located in the heart of the Pattaya golf corridor on the way to Bangkok and the Suvanabhumi International Airport. Like so many of the Eastern Seaboard’s courses the Khao Kheow Country Club is set in a valley between 2 hills and strong sea breezes are prevalent most afternoons. The course plays quite long and the elevation changes between holes is a welcome differentiating point compared to the other flatter courses in the surrounding area.
The Khao Kheow Country Club has a 27-hole golf course, being located in the heart of Pattaya golf corridor on the way to Bangkok and the Suvanabhumi International Airport. Like many eastern seaboards’ courses, the Khao Kheow Country Club is built in a valley between 2 hills and strong sea breezes are prevalent most afternoons. The distance for the course is quite long and there are steep elevation changes between holes. This is a unique differentiating factor when compared to many other flatter courses in the area.
In this course, each shot needs to be carefully calibrated to overcome not only the windy conditions but also account for the numerous large ponds, bunkers and hills that surround the well-manicured fairways. The green is carefully and frequently maintained to ensure that there are good putting conditions all year round. All these helps Khao Kheow Country Club stand out from the other Pattaya golf courses. The course is suitable for everyone. An example is the signature par-three seventeen which plays to an island green will make both amateurs and professionals feel like they are playing in TPCC Sawgrass.
Overall Khao Kheow is one of the best courses in Pattaya, therefore making it a good choice for inclusion in any Pattaya golf package. Carts are optional, which also helps to keep costs low and affords all golfers a choice of walking or riding. 888 casino is a very remarkable gambling site for Canadian players. Laem Chabang International Country Club is a scenic Jack Nicklaus designed championship course. It has the best layout in Pattaya and truly one of Thailand’s finest. Laem Chabang is made up of 27 holes on 700 acres and makes use of 3 types of features which characterize each of the 9 holes. This handiwork is widely hailed by critics for the optimum usage of the land’s mixed terrain of mountains, lakes and river valleys which are lovely as well as functional. Different types of terrain integrate finely to the 9-hole course in a unique way and as such each course is named Mountain, Lake and Valley.
The rolling hills of the surrounding countryside have been optimally utilized. There is an abundance of hazards to stop you from reaching the green.
These include bunkers, sand traps, water hazards and even natural hazards in the shape of exposed rock formations, lakes, ponds and creeks. Cleverly shaped holes skirt water hazards and tall coconut trees. Every tee is signed with a board describing a distinctive tree or shrub planted nearby to give the course a unique floral emphasis. The large, undulating greens are mostly raised and protected by wide bunkers.
These unique conditions provide any golfer a challenging golf game in a wide range of terrains. Carefully and timely maintained, this golf course neatly integrates the man-made features and rich planting of flowers and shrubs, with the natural splendor of the surroundings hills, rocky outcrops and jungle vegetation. With the numerous scenic views from the course, it all fuses harmoniously into a great golfing experience and one that is uniquely Asian. Excellent clubhouse facilities and accommodation superbly complement all of this. This top course is a must play for anyone in the Pattaya area and should be included in all Pattaya golf holiday!

The tricky layout of bunkers and water hazards, elevated greens and undulating fairways make this a very strategic course. Every stage in the course offers different challenging games. The signature hole is the par four 17th which plays over 400 yards, is the longest par-4 on the course.

Opened in 2004, Pattana Sports Resort is an all-encompassing sport and recreation resort destination. The Pattana Golf Course is comprised of three nine-hole courses, Andreas Course, Brookei Course and the Calypso Course. The three courses feature undulating fairways, plenty of water hazards, strategically positioned bunkers and elevated greens, with panoramic views of nearby mountain ranges. It is also one of the only two golf courses in Thailand that offers par 6 holes. The 5th hole on the A-Course, measured 663 yards is the signature hole. Together with the B-Course par six 9th which measured 626 yards, they formed the 2 longest holes in Pattana.

Phoenix Gold Golf Course comprises three nines – Ocean, Lake and Mountain, and has superb views of the surrounding mountains and the Gulf of Thailand. Large mango, eucalyptus trees and flowering shrubs add color and give a natural feel to the layout.
Gently contoured fairways, shallow bunkers and sloping greens characterize this palm tree lined parkland course. Tee-boxes are defined by planted hedges.
The name Ocean Course may seem like a contradiction as you may be wondering why there is no water on any of the nine holes. However, wait until the finishing hole on the Ocean Course. The tee box for this par-5 sits at the highest point on the course and affords a commanding view of the Gulf of Thailand and Pattaya skyline. The tee shot is straight down a sloping fairway followed by a 2nd shot aimed toward the Gulf of Thailand.
Large sand bunkers lining along both sides of the fairway come into play on the 3rd shot into the green. The bunker in the front left of the green should be avoided for it is difficult to get up and down for par from there. The center of the green is preferred for an easy par, or even birdie!
In terms of the beauty of the course, the top honors go to arguably the best nine, the Mountain Course. A very attractive collection of folding, jungle-clad hills is always in view. The rocky frontage of one mountain is decorated with a massive, laser-carved image of Buddha, the golden lines of the image standing out against the grey of the rock face. It is quite a sight, especially when illuminated by the sun’s rays.
A spacious clubhouse dominates the landscape with a huge center reception and pro shop. The locker rooms and other facilities are more than adequate and the restaurant serving both Thai and European food is superb and well-priced.
Phoenix Gold Golf & Country Club’s easy access from Pattaya plus decent playing conditions makes this course worth including in most Pattaya golf packages.

Located among the rolling hills near the gulf of Thailand, Rayong Green Valley Country Club is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque and popular golf courses in Pattaya. It is situated 45 minutes from central Pattaya, the Peter Thomson designed parkland course is carefully and professionally maintained. The layout at Green Valley features an inspired design that fully utilize the natural layout mixed with flora and large rocks, bunker locations challenging the good golfer and some very cunning dog-leg holes to create an unbeatably enjoyable and taxing round of golf for players across different levels.
Rayong Green Valley Country Club is constructed on the side of a hill and thus attains its bountiful features from the large rocky outcrops, boulders, cactus, and other native fauna that are presented in the local terrain.
Bunkers have been used very intelligently, inviting a good golfer to drive over them while shorter hitters have plenty of room to layup. Green Valley gives you one of the best walking courses in Pattaya as the undulating fairways in this peaceful setting allow those who prefer to exercise to enjoy a game of golf at its best. The greens are slightly raised and vary in sizes.
The Rayong Green Valley complex also includes a large clubhouse with 3 different restaurants. There is a diverse range with cuisine from Thai, Chinese, Italian, German, Japan and Korean available which can definitely suit much appetite. The foods are professionally prepared daily by experienced chefs in a comfortable relaxing atmosphere.

Siam Country Club Old Course is one of the more famous Thailand golf courses, being built more than 35 years ago it was the first privately owned golf course in the country. Over the years the golf course has hosted several international golf tournaments including the annual Honda LPGA Classic from 2010 onwards. The course is impeccably maintained and kept in first-rate playing condition all year round.
The Siam Country Club Old Course is located in the low hills, a few kilometers from Pattaya and contains bountiful mature trees, shrubs and plants. Many fruit trees on the course give the impression or atmosphere of being in an orchard. The abundance of wildlife in the form of bushes and hedges are unique features to Siam Country Club. The course layout is such that many golf holes are played past a series of lakes and carefully placed creeks.
Powerful and straight driving is needed to negotiate the often narrow fairways. The large trees at Siam Country Club often get in the way and will punish errant tee shots. The greens at Siam Country Club Old Course are mostly large, roll fast, and are well maintained.
Filled with numerous bunkers and water hazards, the course boasts several challenging holes, particularly the last four holes. The 15th through 18th holes taken together could be the best finishing holes of any Pattaya golf course. If you’re having a good day and scoring well, take care as these 4 holes could easily bring you back to earth and ruin a good score. Siam Country Club, Old Course is one of the best courses in Pattaya. Together with the Plantation, Waterside, and Laem Chabang courses the 4 take top honors.

The Siam Country Club Plantation Couse is undoubtedly an extraordinary golf course. It has held internationally acclaimed tours such as the 2009 US LGPA and 2015 Thailand Open. Nothing was spared by designer Lee Schmidt.
The 27-hole layout consisting of the Sugarcane, Tapioca and Pineapple course, is routed through rolling terrain with distant panoramic views of Pattaya Beach, Laem Chabang, and the Gulf of Thailand. Formerly a tapioca and pineapple plantation, the property’s environmental and natural characteristics include rough ravines intersecting its Paspalum fairways and mature trees increased by landscape ground cover and plantings. The Plantation Course also features steep elevation changes that result in numerous breathtaking sea views of Gulf of Thailand.
The course has many difficult holes. Long carries, blind shots, elevated greens, undulating fairways and greens, giant high-lipped bunkers, and shaved fringes on every hole are in play to challenge even the professional golfer. Two nines, the 3,759-yard par-36 Tapioca and the 3,645-yard par-36 Pineapple, feature Asia’s first triple green. The Tapioca’s seventh and the Pineapple’s fourth and ninth holes play to a single green measuring more than 20,000 square feet (1,916 square meters) which serves as a unique focal point on this Pattaya golf course. The green’s undulating putting surface is attached and is divided into three distinct sections by large swales. Number seven on the Tapioca is a par-3 of 178 yards, while numbers four and nine on the Pineapple are lengthy par-4s of 490 and 469 yards, respectively. The Sugar Cane Course is the Siam Country Club Plantation Course’s third nine which plays out to the left of the driving range and staging area. The par-36, 3,736-yard layout is arguably the best of the 3 nines and includes the spectacular fifth. A par-5 with over 28 bunkers the Plantation Course’s signature hole plays long uphill with a split fairway. The right side fairway makes a very difficult and long carry to have any change to reach the green. The alternative, hitting to the left fairway and take advantage of the simpler approach shot and stand a chance to get a par.

Siam Motors Group launches a mega golf course center in Thailand, Siam Country Club Waterside. Golfers will experience creation of design in harmony with nature. With many water-feature holes, Signature Hole will be a memorable one. Course design will be strategic with locations of lakes and creeks in play. The back tee will challenge the best. At the same time, the regular tee will offer enjoyment for all golfers.
Much emphasis have been given to challenge golfers and, most important, happiness at the end of the day. The main highlight of the Waterside will include the clubhouse with 180 degrees view of the beauty of the course, lakes, creeks and landscape blending with natural surroundings. Siam Country Club Waterside Course is the third layout from Siam Motors Group in Pattaya.
The Waterside Course, designed by IMG, features gently slanted terrain, making it very different from the hillier Siam Country Club Old and Plantation Courses. Over a span of 200 acres the golfer friendly course is of the same championship quality and 5-star experience as its other two big brothers next door. Course design is planned with several lakes and creeks in play. At over 7400 yards the back tees will challenge the experienced golfers. At the same time, other tees down to 5000 yards are available and offer enjoyment for golfers across different levels.
Fairways are grassed with the latest variety of Paspalum grass while greens are a variety of Bermuda grass. Many holes are surrounded by water while the greens are flushed with the fairways making most holes very friendly. Hole-17th, a long 600 yards par-5 that gives long hitters the option to cut across a dogleg left over water to reach the green in two or shorter hitters a layup, but still challenging shot over a deep ravine to make the green in regulation.
The final hole is a great finishing hole playing around the large manmade lake in front of the club house. The 420 yards par-4 is a monster for any golfer, especially playing into the prevailing winds. Many rounds will be settled here with the rare birdy possible, but many more bogies or worse more likely.

English born golf course architect Desmond Muirhead has created one of Pattaya’s most interesting golf courses by working with a remarkable and undulating natural topography. The golf course offers an uncompromising challenge aimed at players with handicaps of 18 or lower. Playing at over 7700 yards to a par 74, this is a tough course. St Andrews features elevated tees and greens, tight landing zones, split elevation fairways, huge putting surfaces and while difficult to accept for the true golfer, two par 6’s, over 800 yards each! The back nine in particular has large elevation changes and views of the surrounding hillsides.
The course is targeted for accomplished players; it is the most challenging course in Pattaya and should be played by all golf tourists. The course is an extremely tough test of golf from any tee and the two par-6 holes are a bit much for the golf course purist.
The additional long fairway shot that must be played demands a completely different dimension in concentration and course management.
The course requires power, accuracy and strategic positioning of each shot due to the high number of hazards. Even one errant shot can be very costly. This Pattaya golf course requires the use of every club and also will be the subject of lots of stories about a challenging round of golf. Bring lots of golf balls, and expect to otherwise be beaten up by this course.
St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club is under the same management, sharing the same facilities as the Rayong Green Valley and Silky Oak courses. The club house and onsite golf resort overlook the course, while the former makes for a good 19th hole to reflect on your round. For those looking for a best of Pattaya golf package, St. Andrews must be one of the included stops.
